Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you book Roaming Thread for a brand activation, pop-up or private event, including when an agency books us on behalf of its client. Roaming Thread is run by Yasmine Abdo, a sole trader based in Melbourne (ABN 13 831 474 102). Your written quote and these terms together make up our agreement.
Quotes
Every event is quoted individually, based on your date, location, session hours and the products being personalised. Quotes are given and confirmed by email, and are in Australian dollars.
Roaming Thread is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
Securing your booking
A booking is only secured once it has been confirmed in writing and any required deposit or payment has been received. Until then, the date is not held for you. Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are set out in your quote.
Your products and designs
You send us the products being personalised before the event so we can trial them on our machine, and we agree your thread colours, fonts and symbols with you in writing. We recommend including spare pieces of each product for the trial.
By asking us to stitch a logo, name or artwork, you confirm that you have the right to use it.
On the day
We need a small, dedicated space for the embroidery station and access to a standard power point. We set up, run the session for the hours booked and pack down afterwards. We bring our own custom-built cart, or bring the machine alone and work within the setup your agency supplies.
For agency bookings we report to your on-site contact. If you would like to extend the session on the day, we will do so if we are able to, once the extra time has been agreed with that contact.
Changes
Please confirm any change to your date, location, hours, products or design details with us in writing. We will do our best to accommodate it, and we will confirm in writing if it changes your quote.
Cancellations
Deposits and confirmed bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing. If you need to cancel or move your event, please tell us in writing as soon as you can.
If we ever have to cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible and either agree a new date with you or refund what you have paid for that booking.
Photographs of our work
We may photograph and film the station and the pieces we make, as a record of our work. We will only name your brand, or share images of your event publicly, with your written consent.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
